The Pueblo West Fire Department is implementing a new Wildland Firefighter program to provide support in responding to wildland fires. Wildland Firefighters should have current or previous wildland firefighting experience that includes completion of the S130 and S190 training. Basic wildland First Aid, Emergency Medical Technician or above certification or have the ability to successfully complete. Must have the ability to work scheduled shifts and availability to be on call. Hours will vary on weekdays and weekends.
